Icelandic Poppies can be a real stunner, in either your wildflower meadow orin more controlled garden plantings. Ironically, it is not native to Iceland, but rather to the far northern regions of Europe, Asia and North America. Flowering from early spring through fall in cooler zones, Iceland Poppies, as the name suggests, are not heat tolerant and while some success can be experienced in warmer climates, expect Iceland Poppies to behave as annuals in southern zones.
