This bright yellow counterpart to the more commonly known Blue Lupine, Golden Yellow Lupine is an annual variety of the popular wildflower. Native to the Mediterranean region of Southern Europe, this particular cultivar was once a common food source in that area—but beware, they can be poisonous if not prepared correctly. We prefer to just enjoy their bright yellow blooms and lush foliage, especially when planted along with its blue and purple compatriots, for a stunning wildflower display in late spring.
